120 Servings Dried Meat – Survival Food

Bought this for emergencies, but wanted to try it out for flavor. Also purchased the Mountain House Essential Bucket (see that review). I will be buying more of the Wise Company products. The price is good for what you get. and over all the food tastes very good.

Now for a little breakdown We rated all the different pouches, and for the most part all were good. The best for us were the Creamy Tomato Basil Soup & Beef Teriyaki and Rice. The worst was the Cheesy Lasagna (Wife said it had a bitter flavor, I just did not care for it. It is eatable, just not tasty). Serving wise it was just my wife and myself, so potions were based on left overs. Most of the pouches gave out 3 good serving (could be stretched to 4 small servings). Most everything did better with a little salt and pepper.

All in all this is now our go to for emergency food.

They were also easy to fix. Boil the water and dump in the food. Works best with a Whisk but a fork does okay to mix.

Love the price and the amount of food in the bucket. Just what i think i will need to hunker down and stay home with this new virus thats come up. Great price and also good quantity. I know food storage is getting hard to find, so I\'m glad I got mine.

I ordered these meals to be added to my Hurricane Preparedness kit. I was re-stocking my supplies yearly because they expired, and these kits are a far more economic way to store food. We did open one meal, just so we had an idea of what it tasted like, and it was surprisingly tasty. I have now recommended these kits to all of my friends!

I'm pretty happy with this product. The bucket is wicked secure and reusable, which is nice. The other products that I've used in this line has a bucket liner that you have to rip off, then can't be resealed again. So, once the food is gone, I've got a large bucket that can be sealed to a reasonable degree. I'm very happy with that fact. As for the food, the family agreed that it's not for every day, but would be awesome in an emergency! "Duh", right? We tried the mac and cheese. It was a little heavy on salt, which is expected, and actually preferred. In an emergency I'm probably not going to be standing around doing nothing so having a heavy salt source bundled with food is a huge plus. Also, I thought the product tasted great, but I'm not that picky; I'll eat just about anything. Great product, I highly recommend this, and I'm absolutely going to be buying more of these.
